About the Role

Kohler Waters Spa at the Old Course Hotel, Golf Resort & Spa creates relaxing, rejuvenating experiences inspired by the natural restorative properties of earth’s mineral-rich waters. It's the only Kohler Waters Spa outside the US and offers a range of treatments or an all-day immersion with therapeutic water treatments and results-oriented facial and full-body massages.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Spa Attendant to join our team. This role is an integral position within the team, contributing to the overall guest.

The Senior Spa Attendant will provide a friendly, efficient, and professional first impression to everybody arriving at the Spa and Leisure. They will ensure that all shifts run smoothly and efficiently, take responsibility for the entire Spa and Leisure Attendant Team (Day and Night Team), and have a strong overall awareness of all Front and Back of House areas. Senior Spa Attendant will need to lead by example making sure the team are constantly maintaining Spa and Fitness cleanliness at the highest standard according to Preferred Hotel and Health and Safety Standards.

Other responsibilities include training & development of the Spa Attendant team, making sure team are feeling appreciated and looked after.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day cleanliness and hygiene of all areas of Spa and Fitness Centre in accordance with the Health and Safety legislation.

  • Provide direct support to Spa Management Team when required. This may include deputising in their absence, assisting with handling of complaints, problem solving, making sure Spa runs smoothly.

  • Interact and communicate effectively with members, team members, guests, and management team.

  • Train Spa Attendants, update standards operational procedure when needed. Act as a role model for all levels of Spa Attendants; consistent mentoring and training.

  • Responsible for cleaning stock control, undertake stock takes, and process orders as requested.

  • Assist with any Spa events as required, help to run any events within the Spa.

  • Produce and overview Rota on daily/ monthly basses, control labour cost.

  • Actively participate in Spa Attendant recruitment process.

  • Monitor training for new members of staff and to ensure all training is documented.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic, well presented, friendly and confident individual who has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with a flexible approach. You will enjoy working as part of a team but can also work independently. Ideally, you will have previous customer service and management experience within hospitality.

Salary

This is a permanent contract working 40 hours per week across 5 days out of 7 including weekend and evening work. A competitive salary of £28,260.96 is offered along with a vast range of associate benefits.
