Location: Hybrid (2-3 days on site) in Palo Alto, CA / NYC

Come join Kohler Ventures as Sr. iOS Engineer, as we build a best-in-class global multi-disciplinary team across artificial intelligence, machine learning, design, advanced software and hardware engineering, strategy, venture investments, sales, marketing, and partnerships.
Specific Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Head of Software, software engineering team, and product teams.
Design mobile architecture that can scale with the business growth of Kohler Ventures.
Build the forward-looking vision and lead the effort to understand and drive requirements with hardware/software teams.
Coordinate with product development teams to execute rollout/adoption of common libraries, services, and patterns.
Measurably improve code normalization across one or more critical code concerns throughout the codebase.
Skills/Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a CS/engineering or related technical discipline from a reputed academic institution. Master's preferred.
7+ years of professional software development experience.
5+ years of experience in software design and development for iOS platform.
Expert in SwiftUI
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical experience in some of the following areas: (1) Objective-C; (2) High-level understanding of cloud and mobile app technologies and associated communication protocols; (3) Pairing, configuring, and testing Bluetooth peripheral devices; (4) Automated Testing (Xctest, Nimble, OCMock, KIF, etc.)
Experience working with HealthKit, ResearchKit on iOS preferred.
Broad interest spanning from early prototyping to shipping finished features.
Contributed significantly to growing and shaping backend systems, APIs and embedded systems.
Experience in data science (including ML algorithm implementation).
Champion for quality in code, processes, and culture.
Strong ability to communicate complex technical and management information clearly and concisely.
Positive, can-do attitude with a high degree of ownership and self-motivation to drive change.
Entrepreneurial experience in a high growth technology focused company or startup.
Exemplary collaboration skills across teams, geographies, and functions.

We will consider applicants requiring sponsorship for this opportunity.
The approved base salary range for this position is 98K-182K. The actual base salary offered to a candidate may be higher than the approved range. This will vary depending on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. This position is eligible for a 30% Area Salary Differential (cost of living adjustment) for San Francisco Bay area. The approved base salary range including ASD for this position is $122K-236K. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and a special project incentive. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision and 401k.
