Sr. Human Resource Generalist, Enterprise Functions

Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

The Senior HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting the Enterprise HR team by overseeing various HR processes and procedures with a focus on recruitment and selection, talent management, and HR expertise. This position requires an HR professional who can effectively manage HR process execution, provide coaching to leadership, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive organizational success. The Senior HR Generalist serves as a trusted advisor to management and associates, ensuring compliance with HR policies and fostering an inclusive and productive work environment.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with business & functional leaders to provide day-to-day and strategic HR support focused on recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations and associate retention strategies.

  • Manage recruitment & selection process in partnership with Hiring Managers & Talent Acquisition inclusive of position description review, intake discussions, participation in interview panels, and pre/onboarding new hires.

  • Provide guidance and support to Leaders & associates on various HR-related matters.

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify strengths and areas for improvement; present findings to Leadership and develop action plans accordingly.

  • Execute upon HR processes to ensure a smooth associate experience for all associates through the associate lifecycle.

  • Lead and coordinate global job family projects with a focus on inclusion, culture and belonging.

  • Work independently and display accountability by executing all tasks in a timely manner with great accuracy.

  • Seek opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the overall associate experience.

  • Completes assigned projects on behalf of the Enterprise HR team.

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of three years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR business partnering. Experience working a global, matrix work environment is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to challenge the status quo and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software. Current or prior experience with WorkDay is a plus.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $76,050 - $96,050. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
