Opportunity

The Senior Program Manager, Transformation Management Office facilitates major operational transformation programs within Kitchen & Bath through the pillars of Process, People and Technology. The position will run a Program Transformation Office for the Kitchen & Bath operations and supply chain organizations, and through partnership relationships support and drive overall program direction, design, and governance. The role supports the development of Global Operations mid to long term strategic capabilities, directly supporting the posture Kohler will take in terms of product, experience, go-to-market strategies to continue and accelerate its growth trajectory. The position will facilitate key decision making as necessary, and track execution/ results progress against plans.

The successful candidate is an experienced operations project/program lead providing governance and a results orientated approach supporting strategic execution of the global program. As a facilitator and advocate of Kohler’s mission, the role is to bring to life risks and opportunities inherent in change and facilitate the required actions through the program workstream owners. The role partners across the organization to facilitate the execution of key operational and functional programs, ensuring alignment with business, functional, and operational strategies, across plants, geographies, and across functions.

The role works with Kohler’s Kitchen & Bath operations and supply chain functional leaders to drive long-term impact on operational and cost effectiveness. This includes the creation and coordination of plans, metrics, and milestones across the program. They will facilitate content updates and discussions at the Kohler Kitchen & Bath Leadership Team, as well as business/ functional leadership levels.

Specific Responsibilities

•Through senior partnerships, drive the execution of mid to long term global operational strategies and plans for the organization.

•Coordinate and maintain cadence ensuring mission, strategy, and metrics for the operations team remain relevant to company goals and the requited level of transformation.

•Enable appropriate change management activity ensuring effective deployment of new capabilities through strong advocacy at the leadership level and ownership at the associate level.

•Working with Strategic Planning teams and Operational leads to monitor and facilitate discussions around strategic risks and opportunities.

•Within the Operations span of control assess employee/employer, technology and process trends and gather internal and external information to shape strategic vision and future roadmap; facilitate decision making by leading strategic presentations, discussions, and workshops.

•Consolidate appropriate economic, industry, competitive, customer, and consumer trends for the Operations Leadership Team and business leaders.

•Identify the capabilities needed to meet current and emerging business needs, based on developed strategies.

•Deploy appropriate Program mgmt. capabilities that support a strong governance and rigor to all aspects of time, quality, and cost delivery.

•Develop models and supporting documents in pursuit of strategic execution and decision making.

•Collaborate with business/ functional leaders, communication and change management in development of communication of strategies to associates.

•Develop collaborative external benchmarking and operation award programs enabling high standards of performance and celebration of success.

Skills/Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA Degree preferred.

•Requires 10+ years of work experience within operations/manufacturing engineering; 5+ years’ experience in a project or program management.

•Industry and global experience a plus

•Proven track record leading strategy development and high performing teams.

•Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills.

•Ability to connect dots across disparate bodies of work, synthesizing insights.

•Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with senior executive leaders.

•Track record building strong working relationships with senior executive leaders, including influencing without authority.

•Strength in creating structure within ambiguity.

•Flexible and agile, comfortable with making pivots.

•Excellent written and verbal communication/executive presentation skills (including fluency in Microsoft PowerPoint) required.

•Ability to develop business plans and model financials (in Excel) required.
