Associate Product Manager, Wellness Products

Work Mode: Hybrid

Location: Hybrid - Kohler, WI or Dallas, TX

Opportunity

The Associate Product Manager, Wellness supports the overall category strategy and goals, leading development and execution of new products, portfolio management and commercialization of product launches within the newly formed Kohler Wellness division. The Associate Product Manager is responsible for benchmarking, defining customer requirements, pre-post launch deliverables and execution alignment to ensure a successful market launch. This individual would be responsible for cross-functional collaboration with team members including engineering, program management, sourcing, industrial design, supply chain, marketing, sales, and creative will be vital in the success of this role. This individual is passionate about wellness, highly entrepreneurial, a community connector, works well with ambiguity, demonstrates passion for the vision and willing to do all it takes to win in an agile organization to develop, launch and expand the brand.

The newly created Wellness Products business has been charged with becoming the premier Mind & Body Wellness provider for at home and professional spa sanctuaries. The objective of this business is to not only grow an already wellness-centric product portfolio, but also create a clearly differentiated go to market strategy with a tailored angle to captivate the target audience with unforgettable showroom and digital destinations. Applicants must be passionate about wellness and having expertise in the ever-growing market is a plus! Given the startup nature of this business, applicants must possess a bias for action, an ability to continually assess with openness to pivoting as the market dynamic changes and must be team-oriented with a willingness to dive in and support with whatever is needed. Prior start up experience is preferred.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Serve as a brand ambassador.Live and breathe delighting the customer throughout the customer journey, product development and lifecycle across channels.

  • Develop a complete understanding of the customer, industry, and competitive landscape including innovation, products, pricing, trends, and market share.

  • Deliver business objectives for category including sales growth, new product vitality and market share.

  • Lead analysis to develop insights, formulate, test hypothesis and present recommendations.Constantly evaluate market conditions, taking appropriate action to enhance ideal brand experience and competitive position.

  • Manage performance dashboards, new product communications and commercialization timelines of key assets with channel, campaign, supply chain, and Tech Comm.

  • Build strong collaborative partnerships with cross-functional team members to successfully develop and launch new products and innovate in product and process

  • Be agile, leveraging data to quickly iterate product solutions and lead marketing planning and execution.Give guidance and direction to the development of general plans, budgets and strategies; assess the effectiveness of performance of programs.

  • Partner with channel and supply chain on load in quantities and monthly forecast of new product launches. Collaborate with the channel and sales organizations on product needs, samples, and other requests to drive new product introductions.

  • Identify, develop, maintain, and leverage strategic business relationships and networking opportunities with customers, product development teams and stakeholders that can contribute to the development of new product and business ideas.

  • Demonstrate competency in the following: Drive Continuous Improvement, Set High Standards of Performance, Focus on the End Customer, and Build Trust.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 3+ years’ experience in product, brand or channel marketing or related field. MBA preferred.

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, detail oriented, energetic and results-driven.

  • Experience in consumer marketing, Wellness or Plumbing industries, exposure to product development, business development or ability to quickly learn.

  • Travel to trade shows, manufacturing vendors, and customer as needed, approximately 25%.

The salary range for this position is $89,800 - $114,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
